The state-of-the-art analytical laboratory and sensory and roasting laboratories located at the Coffee Quality Division, Coffee Board’s head office, Bengaluru, are catering to coffee quality testing services and R&D on coffee quality improvement for the coffee sector in India.

 

The HERACLES Neo electronic nose and ASTREE electronic tongue from Alpha MOS were installed at the Coffee Quality Division in 2019. These instruments are functioning satisfactorily. The instruments work as a tool for validating the perceived sensory response of coffees tested.
